PURPOSE
COME is an Independent Baptist Mission Agency for full time Evangelists and Bible Teachers, dedicated to providing a soul-winning, strengthening ministry to fundamental gospel preaching churches at home and abroad.
COME's primary purpose and burden is to specialize in Evangelistic and Bible teaching Crusades in mission churches, small struggling works, and ministries that could not otherwise afford such services.
COME seeks to cooperate with other mission agencies and missionaries. By invitation, COME Evangelists will spend several weeks on special home and foreign projects. In many cases, pioneer missionary evangelism is conducted when COME men enter into an unevangelized field to help a missionary or national pastor start a new church through personal soul-winning and preaching meetings.
COME is placing an emphasis on home projects where one or more evangelistic teams will come to a small church by invitation and spend several weeks to strengthen and encourage the pastor and the church in home calling, telephone ministries, children's meetings and evening revival and evangelistic crusades.
FINANCES
COME Evangelists seek to raise their financial support just as other missionaries in order to be able to preach the gospel in missionary churches and other endeavors at home and abroad. Often the churches that invite COME men simply cannot afford to give them offerings that would meet normal living and traveling expenses.
COME encourages churches and individuals to consider taking on the regular monthly support of one of COME's outstanding Evangelists or Bible Teachers.
COME maintains an office that coordinates the various ministries of COME men, produces literature, and seeks to make the work more effective world-wide. Regular monthly support is needed for these General Fund operations.
COME receives and receipts gifts for the Evangelists and the General Fund at the Home Office. All gifts are tax deductible.
POSITION
COME is an Independent Baptist Fundamental Mission. We hold to the absolute in errancy and inspiration of the scriptures; the blood atonement of Christ as the only sacrifice for sin; salvation by grace through faith, plus nothing; the regenerating and indwelling work of the Holy Spirit; the pre-tribulational Rapture and the pre-millennial Revelation of Jesus Christ.
COME is opposed to theological liberalism, ecumenicalism and the Charismatic movement. A complete doctrinal statement will be sent upon request.
COME is Baptistic in its practices, and is identified as an Independent Baptist Mission Agency.
COME Evangelists do not necessarily confine themselves to Baptist churches and missions. They are free to assist other pastors and missionaries as long as they are in doctrinal agreement. As invitations come from home and foreign fields COME men are pleased to respond.
